Hands of Faith Home Care

Passionate Home Care and Palliative Care

Palliative care is necessary both before and during hospice care in the last stages of a senior’s life to provide comfort on a mental, physical, and spiritual level. We work in tandem with the hospice care provider to give round-the-clock support and fill in any gaps.

"This organization makes difficult circumstances bearable and offers compassionate care."

HOW WE KNOW

Palliative Care is a comprehensive approach for enhancing the quality of life that offers support on all levels—physical, psychological, and spiritual. When further therapy proves to be ineffective, palliative care occasionally gives way to hospice care. A hospice is a bedside service provided to patients who are almost dying. They help with a sensitive procedure that is best not handled by one person alone.

WHAT YOU MAY BE EXPERIENCING

Your loved one has been diagnosed with a terminal disease with an uncertain prognosis, or an advanced severe illness that shortens life expectancy. In any case, the details are unclear and frequently quite brief—they might span a few days or even up to six months.

OUR ASSISTANCE

Our family has found great solace in the caregiver for my mother, who has gone above and beyond to assist with every facet of her cancer. She has been really kind and amiable, offering assistance with basic personal care, giving medication, and providing pleasant company—all while maintaining a good outlook and upbeat demeanor! Without her, we wouldn’t know what to do. We are really grateful for her service.

PALLIATIVE CARE

Here are a few illustrations of the many kinds of assistance that palliative care entails.

Food and Beverage

We will be available to provide them food, water, or even just some ice chips to bite onto.

Control of Temperature

We'll monitor their temperature, provide a blanket, or keep the room sufficiently warm or cold.

Reading and Music

We'll play some calming music and read them a tale or passage from the Bible.

Services for Incontinence

We'll take care of it and keep them tidy and comfy when using the restroom becomes a challenge.

Bedside Pleasure

We're here day and night to lend a helping hand and a reassuring word.

Aid the Hospice

We'll update the hospice nurse on the most recent requirements and developments when she stops by.
